If so, well, we'll just have to cut his head off and bury him somewhere, 'cause it goes without saying that we can't turn him loose. | I second you, red-baron, on the comment of the bass line with Money. I play it every time I get the chance. It's good fun to play, something that you can't say about all the great riffs. Bass is pretty fun stuff. I like playing the bass line from...if I recall correctly, "Cannonball" by The Breeders. I'm afraid I don't have a wide variety in my music listening...when the Floyd isn't playing, Led Zeppelin has dominion over my CD player. I've always had an affinity for the riff of "When The Levee Breaks".

| Nirvana made some great songs, but did little to back it up. "In Utero" is four good songs (two of them retreads on past songs, which always peeved me) and a lot of filler. I like "Nevermind", though. I can see why people would dislike Nirvana. And yeah, I've heard it quite a few times.

| I was gonna mention it but i just got here so it'd be pointless I don't think there is one most famous giutar riff. It's like trying to say who's the best guitarist of all time, there really is no answer. Different people grow up different ways. But i'd have to say the standard blues riff, whoever started that, it caught on. |

| I found Freebird pretty awesome. I also liked the bass/guitar part in Achilles Last Stand by Led Zep.

| I don't know if the freebird riff is as much famous as just the name of the song |

| I was at a Dave Matthews Band concert this summer and between songs I shouted "FREEBIRD" at the stage... Matthews actually laughed.
