yes, shivers. not here though. The "waters" animals have obvious qualities unlike orwell's. Inspired? yes. based on? perhaps. identical? nope. I still hold that the song (at least the lyrics) to dogs was somewhat of a confession by Roger. I think he saw himself as one of the dogs. I mean if we all fit into one category so we do. I think social life is a bit more complex but really would roger portray himself as a pig or sheep. i doubt it. blah blah... i'm done

This is probably untrue, but I heard somewhere that the three "pigs" in the song "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" are each a slam on a different PF member, that he was venting at each of them in turn--a sort of veiled "Ten (or so) Things I Hate About You" session...sorry for the movie title ripoff. I can guess which stanza would represent Mr. Gilmour IF we were to take that approach...but the other two--I can't tell for sure which is which and who is who.

Is this interpretation even a possibility, or is that complete BS?
