Bad Trader Alert!

Hello all,

I've got a heads up on a real bad trader:

Earl Brackett

This person was kicked off of Ebay because of his refusal to send out merchandise (Pink Floyd boots) that was paid for, and for rude belligerent letters.

Do not deal with this person, I was ripped off by this creep. I asked for my money back several times and instead of sending my money back he sent me exactly 1/2 my order and a note telling me to f... off. His DVDs are of the poorest quality taken from a 10th generation video. He has no idea what he's doing. Sends out DVD+R that only play in PCs or don't play at all. He also lies about what he has. I believe this to be the main problem in our transaction. He lied about a Roger Waters 2002 rehearsal DVD which he obviously doesn't have or he would have sent it. I believe he was desperately searching for this material instead of telling the truth about the fact that he doesn't have it or has no idea how to transfer it to DVD. He claims that he's cripple and everyone should take pity on him when he can't send out your merchandise. He has absolutely 0 customer service. He has taught me a great lesson that I'd like to pass on to everyone. Do not whatever you do PAY for bootlegs. Good people that have bootlegs trade them freely and happily. Do not make the same mistake I made! You have been warned.

Thanks for the warning, but you can't blame the guy; as I see it, he is a good businessman. Take heed next time you order something.

When you pay for something and do not recieve it, it's called a crime. Not good business. Where are your ethics? He is a criminal as you would be if someone paid you for something and you didn't send it to them.

Again, the old lesson: do NOT pay for bootlegs. Specially in the case of floydians, a lot of collectors would be happy to trade with you or exchange for blanks + postage, just for the love of the music.

Lisa, although I seem a bit glib on the matter, I wholly understand and agree with you- I too was ripped off to the tune of almost $600 on eBay.

I think that Piper@gates possibly hasn't got the faintest idea what it's talking about and am 100% in support of you.

I agree with Mark. You need to check people's history on ebay before you buy from them.

Yeah, oddly enough this guy also ripped me off on PF live Wall shows in Nassau and Earl's Court. Terrible...exactly as she describes them (DVD+R, 10th generation, etc). I didn't really want to post it though, because I'm not the people bashing type. But now that it's been brought to attention, yes, this man is a con. Avoid dealings with him.

Yeah...I'm feeling really guilty now...

But I'm just not the "tattle tale" type, ya know? Well, if I encounter things like this in the future, I won't hesitate to alert the community.

Hope you can get things worked out...I had to get PayPal onto his case, and just recently it was settled, in my favor. Luck be with ye!
