Ahem, I think you're just confused. Let me help: Led Zep rocks, but they aren't as good as The Who. Also, Quadrophenia is the best The Who album...also, one of the best albums of all time.

I can tell you haven't heard Quadrophenia.

Some people just don't know, even if they heard Quad.

You have to hear Quadrophenia performed live, and then everyone would have undisputed proof that the album rawks a lot more than Zeppelin's albums. Especially since I can sorta identify with the themes of the music, instead of just hearing some pretty boy singer wailing ambiguously about some girl and mystical mumbo-jumbo. Zeppelin may have some sublime moments of rockitude, but that's just due to musicianship. The Who had years of teenage angst fueling their music, and it is with that passion that makes the Who stand out. Even Rick Wakeman thinks that The Who would be the only band that could beat Yes in a battle of the bands contest, just because they sound like 8 people on stage instead of just 4.

Yes, The Who definately rock hard live. I have DVDs of both bands, and I'd have to say The Who put on a better show.
