Well, if you like it, I'll be damned if I'll agree with you.

The lat concert I saw... I think it was Santana earlier on in the year

It was just a great big dancing fun spectacle. Although he mostly played new stuff Black Magic Woman was there and he also did Exodus with the supporting band (and Australian Aboriginal band and some chick guitarist from Adelaide who just blew my mind away, and she's only 18) It was great really, lots of colour, lots of energy, lots of dance..

I'm dying to see The Whitlmas now.. I got my tickets yesterday.. very happy I am...

cheers

I'd love to see them. Wish they'd come to the States before they hang it up. (fat chance)

I dont know for sure about that Stratman, I do hear that Mitch still has a fairly large and current following in Germany anyway there's an albumn called "Detroit" circa'71 if ya like Mitch it's pretty well a must have. Yes I suppose it's impressive, some would see it as wasted time, I like to think of it as part of my musical apprenticeship...hahaha

Ian McCulloch (Mac or Macca) is one of the coolest frontmen around.

That's as close as they came. About 800 miles away.

Marco: Thanks, I'll keep a lookout for MR&TDW "Detroit".
It's a nostalgia thing.

800 miles? That's bugger-all distance over there, you could easily have nipped up the road to catch their show! I mean I had to travel 6 miles into the city centre and everything, shame on you!
