I can't wait to see them!

Upcoming shows for me: Tool in 3 days, Daft Punk on august 7th, Rush on september 15th and Jethro Tull on november 23rd

Re: Your Concert Résumé...

I recently saw my second favorite band perform. As well as this guy, who opened for them. While something musically was lacking, he put on a great one-man show.

Re: Your Concert Résumé...

Instead of starting a new thread about concerts in the future I thought I'd bring up a few questions about rumours of these bands touring.

Last year I heard Led Zeppelin was reforming for a tour with Jason Bonhom on Drums. Anyone know if this is true
Last night I heard on the radio The Yardbirds with Jimmy Page/Jeff Beck were gonna hit the Road. anyone hear about that?
and unrelated yesterday I heard Zep is coming out with a new Record. Again True or False.

As for my hopes the Yardbirds thing even minus EC would be awesome. I think the only one not alive is singer Kieth Relf. Still the thought of Page and Beck belting out Shapes of Things,Over, under, sideways, down and the rest of thier great hits is hard to top IMO.

Re: Your Concert Résumé...

Added the Journey / Heart / Cheap Trick show to the list a couple of nights ago. Pretty funny to have seen all of these bands in their prime in the 70's and 80's...

Heart still sounds great (gotta love a girl that can play the guitar like Nancy)
Journey was pretty good - the new lead singer is a dead ringer for Steve Perry and Neil Schon can still shred
Cheap Trick was...well...Cheap Trick
