the Jets are poised for a quick turnaround after a 4-12 season that included 5 games they lost by less than a touchdown...early schedule includes games with Miami,Arizona,KC and Oakland...weeks 2 and 3 could be a problem though with NE and SD..

opening game @ Miami should be interesting being that Chad Pennington signed by Dolphins after being cut by the Jets...

I don't know if I blame Brett, who would retire at such an early game from a lucrative career that they actually enjoy. My guess is that there was a lot of pressure from home, his agents, his doctors, etc. to retire, but he never really wanted to.

Also, the Packers could have cut him like he asked, but they refused. They are, in my opinion just as much to blame.
