Two thirds of Elvis' career (1955-1969) saw him slim and gorgeous, so show a little respect. Now Garcia on the other hand...

Elvis being a good pub singer is like saying Frank Sinatra gave good rock concerts

Now the Stones or the Beatles were good pub bands.

And yes... Garicia is a true hero

Thumbs up elvis or beatles?

hey guys,i might have some answers to the elvis and beatles debate:
as for sales elvis comes out on top despite the beatles selling over 375 million albums worldwide.as for talent i believe the beatles come out on top.
reason is during elvis's glory days in the '50s most productions of music were singles instead of albums and each single elvis put out which were eventually hundreds of 'm he sold an average of more then 10 million a piece worldwide, bringing his estimated totall worldwide sale today to around 1 billion records which includes his albums also though.
as for the beatles although they also sold many singles, estimated 100 to 200 million, the majorety of their sales were album sales, bringing their totall estimated world sales of all their records to 750 million.
the only recent unprecedented single monster sale recorded like what was the case during the '50s and '60s was eltonjohn'candle in the wind 1997 which sold over 50 million copies, which is the biggest selling single ever!
