Question Anybody heard of this?

I have an mp3 which is apparently 'Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd (Roger Waters presumably) and David Bowie', it's a live version of Comfortably Numb, just wondering if the three ever did do a gig together or if this is just bollocks.

Re: Anybody heard of this?

I have not actually heard the file in question, but I suspect someone mislabeled it really badly. I don't think Pink Floyd generally performs with other musicians (solo members' performances excepted, which I doubt your file is).

Re: Anybody heard of this?

Most likely, but I swear I can hear Bowie's high pitched voice in the Chorus bit alongside Waters', then again you can find things which aren't really there if you are looking to find something (in a very broad sense), oh well, NIN, Bowie and Floyd are some of my favourite bands and them performing together would be one of my biggest fantasy concerts.

No you don't...you have "Money" performed by Roger Waters with Eric Clapton from the first leg of the PACOHH tour...Clapton was Roger's guitarist on the album and the first leg of the tour.

Re: Anybody heard of this?

I saw that show. Rosemont Horizon, Chicago, August 1984. Lived in Ann Arbor Michigan at the time and roadtripped out with a bunch of buddies. Second best concert I ever saw.

Re: Anybody heard of this?

Best show I ever saw which I can truly put an "awesome" label on was Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush in a small venue in Detroit.

Re: Anybody heard of this?

Unfortunately I never got to see PF. I have some friends who got to see the Wall in New York, but I wasn't so fortunate.

I haven't seen them post breakup on principle.

Talking Re: Anybody heard of this?

nah , that " floyd , nin , bowie " thingy is a common name , if you type " pink floyd live " into mp3 search on kazaa , winmx etc .. i think , it's either Delicate sound of thunder , maybe pulse , or unreleased version from PF tours in 1987/88/89 or 1994 tours , it's a fake , like you also can find " Learning to Fly with Roger Waters on lead vocals " and some more familiar crap .
