The Wall was a good start. I dunno about Echoes and Ummagumma though!

If I were you right now, I'd get Dark Side of The Moon. Then after that, the three following albums in whatever random order you'd like: Wish You Were Here, Animals, Meddle.

with a song as good as 'the narrow way pt 3' this album just has to be purchased, fundamentally on that basis....the live songs aren't that bad either.

Now that I think about it, if it were oo-mah-goo-mah... wouldn't it have to be spelt "Umaguma"? It isn't, therefore it must be "uh-mah-guh-mah". And if for some stupid reason that's wrong, then Floyd spelt it wrong.
