You seem absolutely determined to get him to kick my butt... But he tells me that a black, gay, middle-aged, London interior designer is just too cliche for him to live with. This, from a man I watched singing show tunes from "Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang" with my daughter...

He has done a very nice job on his own flat, and another I saw, however. When I get him to visit, I shall put him to work.

Highly unlikely... he likes you... Whereas he and I are bound together merely by time, not affection.

Listen, you hypocrites, let's just get back on-topic, shall we?

I'll deal with you two wiseacres in private and probably seperately, and I must warn you there's likely to be quite a lot of frowning to come.

I could use some redecoration, while you're at it.

I'm sure for the right fee Byron would be happy to see to your interior.

Hm. He may be a gay man with an eye for color and taste in art... But he also grew up in Compton and likes to lift weights. I should've kept that in mind.

Sure, they've written songs that are incredibly dark and cold (yet warm with feeling). But they've also written songs about breaking away from depression. The entire point of The Wall was getting out from behind it. Also, there are songs that are just plain "happy."

They've written songs and music on just about every emotion one can have.

However, it is society's norm to focus only on what's most popular (which is always the sad, satirical, or dark material).

YEAH, YEAH YOU'RE RIGHT
