Calling All Yankees Fans

As a Yankee fan myself, I was wondering how other fans felt about the way we abused the Red Sox. Does anybody really care about winning the World Series, or is the ALDS vs the Red Sox a greater accomplishment?

My vote is for beating Boston. Who cares about Florida anyway? Long live the curse of the bambino.

Yeah. i'd rather be ringside when the bell goes off or ice side when the puck drops.

That said, I am glad Yankees beat the living s*** outta them

Re: Calling All Yankees Fans

I hate the Yankees. I've followed the Red Sox since the days of Ted Williams. It's easy to love a winner. It takes character to stick with a ....uhh...."less rich and lucky" team.

The Sox were a much bigger hurdle for the Yanks than the Fish will be, although I wish the Marlins would flatten those smug bastards. And I don't like the Marlins. Except for Pudge Rodriguez.

I hate to admit it, but Derek Jeter is one of the best all-around baseball players ever.

It must be hard to be a fan of a team that has more money than every other team AND manages to use it to win a lot. Good old die-hard fans.

Gerald, i hope they can reverse that labotomy of yours.

and beating Boston was the greatest!) That was the best game I've watched
But it's not like we crushed them, like you said. Good ol' Grady Little, if the players don't **** up the game count on him to

Re: Calling All Yankees Fans

I have to say the Yankees/Red Sox ALCS was the most exciting I've seen for awhile. It doesn't get any better than going extra innings in the 7th game.

That alone may rejuvinate interest in ML baseball.

But this Series with the Yanks/Marlins is anticlimactic.

Right, because impassive commentary on the monetarily corrupt ethics of baseball ownership in a western socioeconomic structure has so much to do with the frontal lobe, home to emotion control centers.

Re: Calling All Yankees Fans

Can someone explain to me why people are still talking about baseball in the middle of football season? It's October for crying out loud.
