i was lucky enough to see the band 4/9 in Munchen. they were very good!! (i also got the autographs, YAY!)

I downloaded their album a long time ago to check it out. I thought they were pretty decent musically, but I didn't care for the falsetto vocals.

I decided to give them another listen recently and I have to say my opinion of them have softened. I wouldn't consider them a great band but they have good, fun, catchy songs with great guitar riffs. Mainstream rock is really lacking that today, especially the guitar riffs.

They are clearly taking the piss and that's what's so great about them because music doesn't need to be serious all the time. I'm tired of whiney rock stars.

I heard they put on a good show. I kinda wish I went to see them now. I would have loved to see The Wildhearts open for them.
