What time is it now? I see that the time of this forum is -6 hours of GMT. It's not from a long time ago. But I don't understand why. I hope there is no problem with my PC. BUT if this is a PF's forum, the time MUST absolutely be the GMT!!! Last edited by Vera; 11-09-2003 at 11:30 AM.

You can set the clock to your particular time zone. You'll find that in your user control pannel somewhere. Although I just noticed the same here with mine. we all may need to go in and reset our clocks now that the ISP server transfer is complete. Let me do mine and I'll report back.

Yeah.. we may have a problem here.. I just set mine to mountain time and it says that it's 2:47 am here,, it really 9:47. I'll let Paulo know. Nice catch, Thanks Vera

Maybe your new server is Central-American or Middle-USA, but the time now is wrong all over the World!

Yesterday I reset my time from "MST" to "GMT" (+ 7 hours) to make it right. I'll reset it when the glitch is fixed.

I don't understand a thing of what any of you are saying. ![]() My PC clock is set, as are all my clocks and watches here, to GMT (now: 17:57), which is understandable what with the Greenwich Meantime line being less than 10 miles away from my PC. What the APPFN system/server/thingy clock says is, to me, irrelevant.

I've had to set my time to Hanoi, Bangkok and Jacarta to get the time right. Not that it matters in the real world.

But dear English friends I'm 'the Tidy' and for one time that I recognize to you, sons of the great navigators, a undeniable supremacy to fix the Right Time for all the World, you, dishonourable subjects of Her Majesty, The Queen of The British Empire, declare that the exactness of the time of our forum doesn't matter?![]()

<Ditto> Vera, Vera, what has become of you? BTW, Paulo, the great bringer of APFFN is in Brazil and is in charge of APFFN time, if such a thing could be said to exist. And though I'm not English, I think hardly a dishonorable subject of Her Majesty, and my dad was a Trucker. I said TRucker, not a navigator. Okay?

Did you know that Italian are considered to be a people of 'Poets, Saints and Navigators'? (Please, don't you think to add other things, I already know!) And my Daddy is neither a navigator, nor a poet and so much the less a Saint! Last edited by Vera; 11-15-2003 at 02:06 PM. |
