Pompeii Album Boot

Hey all.

I just want to let you all know that I have successfully made a perfect digital copy of the Live at Pompeii music from the DVD.

So, if anyone here who owns the DVD would also like a copy to burn to CD for the car, discman, etc., just PM me and we can set up a place to transfer (FTP, IRC, ICQ, MSN, etc.)

PS I'm not trying to provide an illegal means of obtaining the music in this video, as I am 100% against piracy. However, I know if I wasn't able to rip the music from my DVD, I would sure appreciate someone like me providing it for them.

Cheers,
--TOF

Hello Tower,

To Your Knowledge,

There are numorous RoIO versions of the Pompeii Concert, which 99.99% of Pink Floyd Collectors owns at least one of Them.
I own two.

I think what you did is exactly the wrong thing to do, which will make the Perfect excuse for The RIAA to shut down The Floyd Trading, which is based Upon endless shows which Were NEVER Released in any Official Format and bare NO Copyrights!
to be exact, the lyrics, the music, and the official Performances do Bare rights, But most of the Unofficial Performances do NOT bare any right, and may be traded, but NOT SOLD!

Yoav.

I'm not selling them, dude.

And besides, most of the RoIOs are taken from the VHS... and that's just gross.

I'd take digital quality over some dodgy vhs rip any time.

Exactly

And besides, I think copies for your own personal use aren't illegal anyway. It's just as long as the original and copy aren't being used at the same time (i.e.: giving the copy to someone else)
