Theyre one of my faves, I love Yield, great album. Ive seen them twice and they were better this year, so I think you got a good tour. I didnt like Riot Act as much though. Seems they dont get better with age. So what songs do you like? They have a rarity album coming out, maybe its out already.

I've never had a lick of a taste for Pearl Jam. I've never heard a tune of their's that stuck on me for more than 0.5 seconds. Plus, every lyric/song topic they use appears to have been done enough already.

I suppose a simple "no" could have done.

Thumbs up Nice band

My nephew like a lot PJ, they came to Mexico City 4 moths ago, and we all made the trip from Guadalajara to Mexico city (above 6 hours by car)

And I liked the band I like the sound even though Vedder was quiet drunk bringing a bottle of wine the whole concert, he sang nice with his particular voice and with a very big support of the mexican audience. originally they planned to give just one concert for more than 20K, but finally they finish with three.

Some weeks after the concert my kids bought the cd of the recording in Mexico

They maybe are not as creative nor innovators like Floyd in its best, but they are autenthic Rock at this time of the match.

I have to accept they conviced me

Vesus and Ten were excellent albums...I think all their other albums have ranged from average to really bad. When PJ first came out I thought they were great but they have slowly decended into the ranks off crappy has been bands.

has anyone been seeing the commericals for "Lost Dogs" or something like that? Can anyone tell me the name of the tune that is playing during that? I'm dying, quite literally, to know.

Re: Pearl Jam fans?

I've been sort of rediscovering PJ over the past few days.

And I really do think that Riot Act has a few hidden gems in that album.

Ten is hands down the best - infact, I dare say quite a significant album in it's own right. Vs. is close enough behind. I'm kinda torn between Yield and Vitalogy. And while Riot Act is ok, it doesn't come near those other albums.

Ten is an awesome album. Black is just such an unbelievably emotional song.

Re: Pearl Jam fans?

I really like "Jeremy".

I think that in the "Vs" tour they sometimes played "Daughter" followed by a cover of "Another Brick in the Wall Part 2" but I'm not quite sure.

Am I right, Botley?

I think the video deserved it's award. There are certain aspects in that song (especially) when Vedder looks upwards/rolls his eyes up that he looks positively evil.

Chilling.

Excellent video. Based on a true story as well.

For me it's hard to choose a "best" track from 'Ten'. Alive, Black, Jeremy, garden, Porch, Once... all good stuff

Dunno. I happen to find Pearl Jam tantamount to musical pabulum, so I couldn't care less really.
