| This Year The MAD mag's Mascot & CoverBOY Mr. Alfred E. Neuman ;celebrates his 50 Years of MADness along with The Usual Gang Of Idiots(though Bill Gaines,Don Martin,A.Prohias,Dave Berg,Norman Mingo,Kelly Freasand lots of other genuise guys are no more,but still there works remains a cut above the rest!).I've been a MAD mag i.e. both Alfred(as BOAB likes him )and the mags contents fan since 2 decades;& still collecting the issues from 1959-1999 in all formats.Have got lots a collectibles;So why not join in and celebrate this anniversary with all those who ever dared to buy the MAD mag CHEAP!!So I invite all the fans/others to share their experience with MAD.Anyone wanting anythingmazig related to Alf / Mad/Spy vs.Spy etc. Plz do inform me,I shall do my best to track down em for you.So What Me Worry ? I read MAD,humour in a jugular vein!! |

| I guess my post was indeed inevitable considering my Alfred E. Neuman avatar. Happy 50th, Alfred and MAD. ![]() I voted for 60-70 and 70-80 because those are the periods (late 60's to late 70's) with which I am most familiar. My favourite bits were the film spoofs, the foldy, transforming centre pages and to a lesser extent, Spy-vs-Spy. Just another brick in the wall...

| I also voted 60-80. I was raised on MAD, read every issue from 1968 to 1979. That may explain a lot. My faves.... Druckers parodies, Spy-vs-Spy, and the fold.......

| I used to read MAD, and then i graduated into junior high. i remember having some pretty old ones from the seventies or around thereabouts. probably in some box with my comic books next to my dusty and untouched SNES. Oh, youth... |
