Floyd's Best Song: The Poll

"Free Four" isn't even an option.

I could potentially edit the options to change "Atom Heart Mother" to something else, like "Other". But to do so after six-and-a-half years of polling would be... silly.

Agreed! Echoes is simply a brilliant masterpiece, a song just out of this world.

Although I still really enjoy and admire SOYCD, I find that it's been overexposed/overplayed, at least for my own taste, which does make it lose just a bit of its shine. No pun intended.

I don't really expect anyone else to take me seriously. I just wanted one more opportunity to point out that "Free Four" is the best PF song, even if it is oft overlooked.

After all, I did originally vote for something on that poll (I can't remember what anymore).

It should italicize what your selection was. Unless you voted under another username, being as crafty as you are.

Went with Echoes the song is just a masterpiece epic

I had to hard a time picking so I ended up going with confortably numb. Why because I havnt air guitared to a solo ever as hard as I do to that solo. But I am g icing a not counted vote to soycd just because it's such a great song for their lost creator.

I went for shine on all 9 parts, but if Wish You Where Hear was there I think I would have gone for that I think. Oh dont make me chose I will keep changing my mind.

I think it also depends on what mood I am in and whether or not you are talking lyrically, musically or as an entirety.

Echoes is haunting yet tranquil. It wins in my book.

Just close your eyes and listen to the lyrics. You will feel like you have been transported to a distant time that is solitary and silent.
