Yeah, I couldn't really figure out why Rob was banned, though I probably should keep my nose out of that door.

doc_how: PM me for the full story if you want, but it's not all that earth-shattering.

Re: Pink Floyd The Greatest?

ahh, matthew gill. The limelight eh? Ahh but you're mistaken. Those who are the spotlight of APFFN have merely been in hiding, and they are returning. However, I still fail to see just exactly how you are the limelight, but anyways...

And who says I'm wise...Hmmm....

Anyways, while I'm still getting complaints about your presence here, I think Byron is handling this perfectly fine. So I shall just sit back and enjoy the show I guess. Holla if you need me my main mod squeeze.

Re: Pink Floyd The Greatest?

You know it is very rare for someone to irritate me enough around here for me to openly tell them that I can't stand them.. at all.. not one bit

Gill: Shut the **** up

1) The reason why Byron is a moderator around here is because he has earnt the respect of the rest of the community for being a rational, friendly, entertaining, helpful human being. By giving him "shit" (or your piss poor idea of it) you're only creating more animosity.

2) Despite what you think.. Rob, although only here for a short time, carried the respect of every single person that came into contact with him. Do you know the meaning of the word "respect" because if you want to find out what it is... you're not going to get any around here... I'll assure you of that.

Your opinions don't matter to me.. or to anyone else around here... I'm not being a bitch, I'm stating the facts.

So here's an idea... Go away..

cheers

What's happening here these days?

Do we know it's Christmas?

Re: Pink Floyd The Greatest?

There is a bothersome member here who is getting on everyone's nerves (nearly everyone if the member in question is to be believed) and the Christmas spirit seems to be nonexistent where he is concerned, which is a shame, but not unexpected.

Perhaps the crusty old grinch can amend his ways and rejoin the international Pink Floyd family - in the fashion of one Col. Qaddafy - but I wouldn't suggest holding our breath.

Re: Pink Floyd The Greatest?

Sydney although I really don't want to wade into this non-issue and I too am puzzled by many of MG's posts, this Rob fellow is not without sin in this matter either
Earlier in this thread he uttered the single most elitist drivel that I feel is really beneath the lowest of contempt. Let me first say that I hold a University Degree(4 yrs) as well as a College Certificate(2yrs)so I have been through and have had success in the education system in Canada, that being said, my father one of the most intelligent people I ever had the pleasure of knowing, had a grade 6 education! The point I would like to make here is the un apologetic under culture running through the educational system that tends to breed an elitist philosophical stance a basic Us vs Them attitude that sets up a prejudicial view of those who have not chased the paper. Yes one has the right to be proud of the dedication and hard work expended in order to possess those degrees but certainly does not give one the right to wave it about like a sword and demean another human being, like a lack of formal education is a one way ticket to stoopidville. Intelligence is a naturally occuring phenomenom and cannot be gained through education, can this intelligence be honed through the skills learned through education, an emphatic yes. but like I say whether one has gone to school for 10 yrs or 20 is no reflection on their worth as a human being. There is something to be learned from everyone

Rob was banned?

Why? That is an outrage!

Re: Pink Floyd The Greatest?

Byron was it something to do with boasting about hacking and requesting IP's?

Intelligence is understanding not knowledge.

I don't think I've been troublesome over my last 140 posts either.
Don't be easily led my fellow Floyd fans.
