Oz I know, just testing to see if you are taking in what you are writing, plus you morons pink floyd are playing the game, none of them will ever admit to the OZ soundtrack(to enable the mystery to linger forever, great for there legacy) saying he's never seen it is the perfect cover - 2001 anybody the blink to the chime.

Argue with this:

I have a very good friend for whom I have played (multiple times) every single Pink Floyd track I own. She does not like to listen to them. She, in fact, thinks that they are rather stupid and boring.

Play them to her some more, she'll eventually realise that she's been deaf all these years.

Re: Pink Floyd The Greatest?

And what question would that be? The part of your post that I quoted ie: "my views are facts" would apear to be a statement!

Re: Pink Floyd The Greatest?

anyway Pink floyd are the GREATEST!!!!!!! can you imagine how much of a classic Echoes would be regarded as if the stones or queen had made it........think this over before you reply please.

Thanks, thats all I ask.

After all we are all serious Floyd fans arent we.

A band that promotes deep thought.

Work with me and be amazed by my discussions, yes they seem dictorial, extreme and a little self indulgent (no quotes) but in the end you will be fascinated, every body I know comes to me with there curiosity's.

Re: Pink Floyd The Greatest?

cheese people giving opinions believe them to be facts. i.e 'I think sepultura are a little too loud' this as got to feel true to whoever states it. If it's wrong then it's an opinion. I state the truth i.e 'I think a lot of the Floyd's music you can chill to. - true!!!!

That's only true if the person giving the opinion is a moron. Saying something like 'Red is the best color ever!' does not denote that the speaker truly believes red to be the best color ever, merely that s/he prefers red to other colors. To think otherwise is folly.

No, it's an opinion if it's something subjective. Preferences in music, art, film, etcetera are all subjective, cannot be judged objectively, and as such are opinion.

That isn't what you said. What you said was that anyone who really gives Floyd a good listen will have to admit that they are the greatest band ever, or something along those lines, which is bullshit. You stated things as if you believed them to be fact, which reveals your status as a self-indulgent fool. I've seen plenty of self-indulgent fools come through here who think the same way you do, and believe me you aren't the worst or even the most memorable.
