Spoken words on the wall

I have not seen a thread on this so i will ask now. Who says the spoken words on the wall such as "If you dont eat your meat you cnat ahve any pudding", and the female voice in the hotel at the beginning of one of my turns. I am familiar that some of the stuff on the second album is from the TV, but what about the rest?

The teacher: Alex McAvoy
the Woman: Nell Campbell

These are the artists who featured in Wall movie, but i don't know if the voices were from another people added post-production. It don't seams that way but... it's all i can say for now.

Re: Spoken words on the wall

that's the wall lowest point... a lot of people featuring in it are not credited on the album cover.

Re: Spoken words on the wall

I want to say that Roger Waters is doing the schoolmaster bit on the LP, but I'm not sure. The girl in 'One of my Turns' was some random girl that Waters and Bob Ezrin found in LA, and they asked her to speak the part (which she obviously accepted). I haven't seen her name anywhere.

A little known fact is that Waters was going to do that part in 'One of my Turns', but (thankfully) chose to get a real girl to do it.

Re: Spoken words on the wall

The girl on One of My Turns is Toni Tenille and she is credited on the album.
FYI-She's the Tenille of The Captain and Tenille (Love Will Keep Us Together).

Re: Spoken words on the wall

ummm...yeah, if you are huge roger fans, like me, its obvious that its roger as the teacher on "the happiest days of our lives", and he also does the "if you doon't eat your meat...etc", he is also shouting to the baby before "Nobody Home" where he says: "Oi! I've got a little black book with me poems in"... and there are more, I'm sure...he also says "Isn't this where...we came in?"

So, yes, listen long, listen hard everyone...ITS DEFINATEly ROGER WATERS!
