Jokers Wild

I knew Dave Gilmore when he was a fresh faced juvenile popster gigging around Cambridge in a band called "Jokers Wild". I also remain friends with other members of that band.

I have an original "Jokers Wild" record with 5 tracks on it. They are "Why do fools fall in love", "Walk like a Man", "Don't ask me", "Big girls don't cry" & "Beautiful Deliliah"

I also have some black and white photos of "Dave in action" from around that time in the 60's.

Does anyone know what the items above would be worth and perhaps a good place to offer them for sale..?

Regards,

Christine

Re: Jokers Wild

Whoa. The 5-track disc has got to be one of the most sought after Floyd-related items in existence. A copy of it was transferred to CD and distributed on numerous bootlegs over the years, but an original disc (how does it sound?) must be worth........I don't know, at least 200$, probably. I'd say Ebay is a good place to auction that item off. It would really help to pay the extra to "feature" the item, so it appears automatically at the top of searches. The pictures of Dave I probably wouldn't want to sell just yet, maybe you could duplicate them and sell those, but the originals would be pretty priceless, and it'd be a shame to sell them to some bum who'll stuff 'em in a trunk in their attic or something.

Re: Jokers Wild

In marketing terms, I'm sure you know Christine, it is only worth as much as you are willing to accept, or what someone is willing to offer for it, but in any case, if you marry me, you won't be selling it.

p.s. please don't let GilmourWhore#1 know of my offer as I have already promised myself to her but, of course, she doesn't have any REAL PF relics as a dowry.

Wow!! That has to worth some serious bucks.

I thought Clive Welham had the only original copy left in existance.

Since you know the members of the band, including Dave, you should also get it autographed by them. You could make a lot of money.

Good luck!
