The Accident Thread

This can include something you said that you shouldn't have resulting in bad things, or car accidents, etc.
I have quite a few, so i'll name a couple. I was skateboarding down an effing steep hill when i was going to fast and hit a rock and sprained my wrist and my back hit my board. And not too long ago i was cutting something when my hand slipped and my knife when approx. 2 centimeters into my arm, pretty close to my wrist area. I only lost two drops of blood, i look at the scar now and see that the puncture was less than a centimeter away from a big vein. And one of my not so bad ones was when my friend was holding my guitar and he said something bad about my girlfriend and i punched him and he dropped my guitar and put a big crack in it, that was kind of my fault. Okay your turn.

Re: The Accident Thread

This one is not about me, it happened to my boyfriend.
We were in a taxi, and the moment we got off, he was so unlucky that he stepped right over a nail, which got stuck into his foot, it went through his trainer's sole into his foot's sole.

Re: The Accident Thread

actually, today, i was trying to make a seal on a letter with candle wax like back in the day and i got it all over the carpet. not trying that again.

p.s. putting a paper towel over wax on the carpet and then using an iron on it works wonders. moms are great.

Re: The Accident Thread

I've had my nose broken unintentionally by a thrown basketball...well it was sort of intentional...the older kids were at the other end of the gym hurling balls at the little kids...

and this ones even better...before a marching band practice the drumline had changed some heads and we took the 18 inch head that was on one of the tenor drums and started playing frisbee football with it. I was the receiver and the quarterback threw it really long for me...I was going to get it, this was it i was gonna win the game right here as practice was about to start, but the kid covering me got his hand up at the last second and tipped it. it went from going right into my hands from going dramatically down right into the bridge of my nose. and for those of you that don't know drum heads have a nice metal rim around them.

well thats the humorous accidents anyway.

Re: The Accident Thread

I drank vacuum cleaner shampoo when I was little once, because I thought it was lemonade, and it was in a cup, but it tasted really bad, and I never got my stomach pumped or anything. but I'm still alive, and assumingly with all my brain cells......

Re: The Accident Thread

Well, my reply matches closely with the "Most Pain" thread. So I saved me some trouble and made a link :
