gawd...30 minutes of AHM...that would feel like an eternity in hell to me

well...I haven't heard the bootleg...but if the original is anything to go by:

ever heard the phrase "like masturbating with a cheese-grater"?

Slightly amusing....mostly painful.

i was going out with this girl and her dad had a whole box full of bootleg floyd that he had taped over the years and traded to get. he must have had like 75 tapes. i got three out of him and one of them was a 71 bootleg of ahm from some were in england not sure where. its really cool except when fat old sun starts it kind of gets quieter so you have to turn it up real loud to hear it.

Re: Atom heart mother live .

Can't go past the performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1971 (Live In Montreux 1971) with the 30+ minute rendition with the out-of-tune orchestra. Love it. 18 minutes without an orchestra on BBC radio? Gah! This piece was meant to be as grand and on a scale as large as possible
