Wish You Were Here Upside down

I recently purchased a used copy of "wish you were here" (trust me, it wasnt plan A) and the cd itself is as clean as a whistle, but the sides of the cd where its says "Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here" are both upside down. I know that sometimes cds will have one side upside down, but for me both sides are upside down. I just want to know if this is normal. Also, if it matters, I have the 1992 (or maybe 1994) digital remaster.

I highly doubt that lupin still frequents this site. . .or ever has. . . but just for the record my copy of Wish You Were Here is also upside-down.

Maybe they're playing mind games with us obsessively compulsive people!

Ummm...the cd covers on the inside of the case are just inserts. Just take them out and flip them around.

Nope, don't work, no matter which way you put it it's still upside-down, i don't care though, it's not like it's hurting me being upside-down.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems that because 'Wish You Were Here' & 'Animals' are both upside-down along the spine of the CD case, maybe the band (or just Roger) was trying to say something. They were letting people know that this wasn't another recreation of 'Dark Side', and that the band had definitely changed a bit. I believe that the upside down album title on both albums WAS indeed intentional.

Mine is upside down too. But I put it right-side up in my tower.

That's a little far-fetched. The band had nothing to do with the design of the CD cases. You do realize that, don't you? Anyway, lots of CD inserts, not just Floyd's, have the titles printed upside-down. There's no standardized way of stacking CDs, so there's no standardized layout for text direction either.
