| Atom Heart Mother Mystery Lyrics Floydians, Although we all know about the loud announcement and the silence in the studios during the song Atom Heart Mother but I have often wondered what else is said during the song in particular: 1. Around 16:27-16:40 2. Is there any translation or anyone know what language is sung during 13:26-14:20 (the choir part)? I just figured this would be the best place to ask. Overhead... |

| Re: Atom Heart Mother Mystery Lyrics If memory serves, the choir is mainly singing "aahs and oohs." But... having said that, the so-called "funky" section sounds almost as if they're singing just that: "funky." Maybe, funky dung. Now, wouldn't that be a gas? Half a dozen or so members of the choir singing about cow shit for six minutes... Man. I miss my Atom Heart Mother CD. Does anyone know where I can download a reliable copy of that album?

| Re: Atom Heart Mother Mystery Lyrics No, I think Albatross is right... there is one part where the choir definitely sings something that sounds like "rah-pah-tee-tah", so it's more than just "oohs", "aahs", and the word "funky" which... I really don't hear in the song. Anyway, hopefully somebody else will shed some light on this matter.

| Re: Atom Heart Mother Mystery Lyrics Floydians, I am shocked that no one else has an opinion of my original post. Whereas most people are overjoyed to discuss the greatest bands/songs of all time or the same old "I never said I was frightened of dying" secret messages, no one has commented on the Atom Heart Mother mystery lyrics. Overhead ... |

| Re: Atom Heart Mother Mystery Lyrics i think AHM is a hard album to talk about. personally, anyway. i hate the title track, but the rest of the album is awesome (though not near long enough). i'm sticking with Meddle.
