Is there a CD of Pompeii?
I got the DVD for Christmas, and would really like to know if there is a CD that was release of just the music, that way I can listen to it away from my DVD player..............

If you have a dvd player in your pc you can rip the audio and burn it onto a cd.

No, the soundtrack has never had an official release for whatever reason.

How do you do that? I mean copy audio from a DVD. WMP won't do it. what kind of DVD player is on your computer?

download it from peer2peer networks , winmx has it , kazaa has it , and the quality is pretty good , for comuter anyway ....

I made a digital copy straight from the DVD to wave then burned it, so there's no unnecessary MP3 compression.

get a program called audacity. then select stereo and you can record it in real time as you play the dvd to a wav. then you break up the wav file into tracks and burn it to a cd.

it is quite easy just a little time consuming.

I was at the music store yesterday and I found a Cd of Pompeii, didn't but it though, but I think theres an offical floating around

thing you possibly saw was Pompeii dvd in cd case , they do it recently

no I'm quite sure it was an audio cd since it said 'audio cd' on the case and was with other pink floyd cds on the rack
