You know, you maybe onto something there...

I'd rather say "It almost hurts... "

One of my most favs is "Riviera Paradise" and ofcourse his rendition of Voodoo Chile (slight return)

yei
i've been to Pet Metheny concert here in my city 3 months ago
it was good
i actually never heard of him before, but my best friend told me he's great so we went and it was totally great

anyway, I love SRV
since i got all his cd's some 4-5 years ago from my a little bit older friend who's been playing guitar for past 20 years, i didn't stop listening to him

first thing that amazed me was LIttle Wing...i totally was freaked up by his playing (although i don't play guitar myself)
too pitty i can't see his show now...

have few cd's from Jimmy Vaughan, he's not bad, but he's not like SRV
do you know that song from Rodrigez/Tarantino movie From Dusk till Dawn? it's a good one

cheers, Vesna
