I was just wondering if anyone knew if Pink Floyd was in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, or not. I was looking through the R&R Hall of Fame bio and I didn't see an induction date for them. If they aren't why? If they only produced two albums, DSotM and The Wall I can still see them being inducted, but they have so many other greats, how could this be possible? Or maybe they are in there and im just babbling..Well i hope someone knows.

yes, they are in the Rock Hall. Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins inducted them. He then joined Nick and Dave on Wish You Were Here.

Just reading what I wrote (I should do that more often ) and it kinda makes sense...what if they'd split instead of bringing Dave in?

as I Recall, Saucerful had both syd & Dave.

IF they wouldn't have carry on, Not only rock music but music in General would lose one of the most important groups of the 20th century and some of It's best compositions and influences.It would damage it so much that we wouldn't know rock music as it was, just like on "What a wonderful life"...

and I'm totaly serious on that.

Saucerful had both Syd and Dave on it, but Syd's contribution was minimal with only "Jugband Blues". Which, I must say, is a great song.

I doubt that they would have gotten inducted if they only had Piper and Saucerful.

They just had a UK Music Hall of Fame on Channel 4 a couple of weeks back. Pink Floyd didn't get voted in, but somehow Madonna did. What the hell is that all about?
