Major Points of '03
Well, another year has passed. What were some of your major accomplishments/whatever of 2003? Here are mine..
I had and lost my first girlfriend. Discovered the joys and pains of fire and fireworks. I went all the way through the hell hole with my two best friends (the hell hole is a mile long drainage tunnel). Discovered the greatness of a creek. Discovered all kinds of great music, like pink floyd. And well, I guess not much happened this year for me. What about you?

I was just talking about this with my best friend...

Well, in a year I...

Fell in love
Got my heart broken
Read a lot of books
Got three D's in easy classes (sorry mum)
Learned the importance of knowing myself better
Made some new friends
Made school history (elevator signs come off the wall *so* easily)
Lost my grandmother
Found out my old man was getting married
Found out I'm going to be an aunt, and
Survived my first year of college.

There were a lot of other things, but these were some that came to mind.

I got another month or two to wait on Tyler.


Oh yeah, my best friend and I went to see Radiohead in Maryland. We had a blast together.

Auditioned for Drama school
Started planing my trip to NZ at the end of this yr

Hung out with the Kronos Quartet.
Mailed Byron a photograph of my ass.
Drove 2000 miles.
Dated a blonde.
Became editor of a periodical.
Met Bruce Campbell at the Bubba Ho-Tep premiere.
Saw the Constantines.
Saw the Shins.
Suffered complete mental breakdown.
Told the blonde that we weren't dating anymore and, as such, it might be poor for our friendship to engage in fornication.
Hit 10k posts.
Continued to be a cynical smartass.

Got dumped
Was depressed and developed a great love for alcohol
quit smoking
turned into an insomniac
barely kept grades up
end of semester, went on a mini US tour
came back, all tired and beat and met a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful girl
began serious dating
finally got my ears pierced and looking for tattoos
became an uncle for the sixth time
stopped being an insomniac (!)
made out with said wonderful, wonderful, wonderful girl
was shocked that there had been exactly 14 sober days this semester
went to NYC for the New Years
had a great time with said wonderful, wonderful, wonderful girl

Oh yeah, was a good year
