Dang! Just starting to get into them!

The album "Dirt" sounds great so far.

Rooster is a kickass song - as if it needs to be said

I'm sure y'all have seen the video of this awesome song...

I have the DVD of all their videos. The Rooster one is definitely one of the best.

Dirt was definitely the best album to get. Way to go simon!

Heh! I did decide to check them out because you kept posting about them

Then I heard one song on the radio today (don't know which one ) so when I came home, started takinga peek around.

Saw the name "Rooster" on one of them lists. Name seemed familiar since you keep posting it a lot, so I figured I'd give it a shot.

I'm well on my way

i've been a big AIC fan for quite some time, have all their albums and all of jerry cantrell's albums. degredation trip, the two disc version is epic, one of the best albums i've ever heard.
"would?" is definitely one of my favorite songs from any band and "rotten apple" and "don't follow" are a couple of not very well known songs of jar of flies that i like.
insanely talented band, too bad they didn't put out anymore material.
speaking of Alice in Chains, the surviving members played a show with pearl jam up here in seattle to benefit the tsunami relief effort. sadly i couldn't go, sean kinney is a god on drums, would've loved to see him play again.

A few days ago I found out that Layne Staley was dead and I was really dissapointed. What are some of your favorite AIC songs? My favorites are "Again", "Dam that River", and "Rotten Apple"
Yes they are a decent band. Have you heard " Man in a box", that ones pretty good.

Mad Season is Layne on vocals and guitar, Barrett Martin from Screaming Trees on drums among other things, John Baker Saunders on bass, and Mike McCready from Pearl Jam on guitar.

Gossard and Ament are nowhere to be found.

Next, I'd say go for the MTV Unplugged album -- a friggin masterpiece if you ask me. There is a lot of emotion on this album.

It's live, but it's not insanely loud. You can hear everyone doing their part. Layne's vocals are also very good -- not quite as good as the studio cuts, but pretty damn good.

Get the album if you want to experience AIC like never before.

I was Paranoid Android, and I own all the albums now. They're all awesome. Even Facelift. A lot of people hate Facelift but I think it's great.

Poor Layne -- He wasn't supposed to die -- AIC & Layne should have recorded another album

A very well done album. Layne was still alive then, but some of Jerry's lyrics make it seem if though he had already passed.

Some of the songs aren't very memorable, but the ones that are will completley blow you away. I haven't heard the new 2 disc version, but it's supposed to be pretty damn good.

If you like AIC, but this album! Hell, if you've ever even heard of AIC, buy this album!
