I did to Perc. Especially the one where Homer becomes the circus freak. If I remember right later on in that episode the pedal don't work no more and the pig refuses to inflate and come about. Also I think that homer was adressing Lisa about shining on.. when he goes to encourage her about her sax playing skills

I was thinking about the song Mother from the movie and remembered that I always seemed to like that version a little better than the album version. Although the album version still kicks major ass, I felt the movie had a little bit "more" put into the song other than the leading accoustic guitar in the album version. I was just wondering if the version from the movie is out there anywhere. I know it's not on any albums, but possibly bottlegged from the recordings for the actual movie? I haven't really seen or ever heard about it anywhere but we'll see what you guys have to say.

A bootleg was released that was "The Wall" movie soundtrack. I'm 99% sure mother is on their in its entirety. Iv'e only ever seen it for sale once or twice so if you don't have bootlegs readily available i may suggest one of those evil downloading things.

What episode was that again? I'd like to see it if it gets repeated.

You're forgetting the episode where Homer becomes a missionary ("SAVE ME JEBUS! SAAAAAAVE MEEEEEE!")... as he recovers from a trance, Marge's wavering voice fades in and she says...

"Hello... hello... hello... is there anybody in there...?"

The episode featuring Homer and Marge's teenage courtship features a DSotM poster in Homer's bedroom.

Cheers,

I guess Matt Groening is also a Pink Floyd fan. Not surprising really.

One episode is coming back to me now about Lisa becoming a vegetarian.. anyway Homer is grilling a pig out doors and lisa is having a tantrum and puts the pig in a wheelbarrow or wagon or something and it rolls down a hill and it hits a rock or bump and the pig goes flying through the air. then mr burns looks out the window and see the pig in the air between the two stack of his plant... that is what i remember... anyone back me up here.......

I will gladly back-up pensfan04.

Lisa drives the sit-down mower into the BBQ with the spit-roasting porker and rolls it up a hill, and lets it go over the hill where it crashes through bushes and other things.

Homer: "It's just a little dirty. It's still good. It's still good!"

Piggy splashes into the river.

Homer: "It's just a little slimy. It's still good. It's still good!"

Piggy flows into the funnel of a dam and gets stuck, backing the water up behind. The pressure builds and it's shot out like a bullet from a rifle.

Homer: "It's just a little airbourne. It's still good. It's still good!"

Then we cut to Mr Burns and Smithers in Burns' office overlooking the power plant. Burns decides to do something nice and give a million dollars to charity...when pigs fly.

Piggy is then seen flying past and in-between the cooling towers, and Smithers asks if now Burns will give the money to charity. Burns says no.

"It's just a little radioactive. It's still good. It's still good!"

I think some of the best Simpsons episodes are the Halloween specials...

Yeah, mine is where they inherit an haunted mansion and it destroys itself rather than live with The Simpsons.

I think perhaps we should start a Pink Floyd Loves The Simpons thread, or some other such, before the Mod Squad come and take us away. :o
