Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Hey y'all

What do you all think about these fellas? I like them a lot. They are quite nice. I really loved "Mr. Pinstripe Suit", "mambo Swing" , "King of Swing" etc.

Nice lot them.

I like them, personally.
I borrowed my older bro's cd for a bit. It's good music.

My wife likes BBVD a lot. I'm more partial to the Squirrel Nut Zippers, though. Not exactly the same (swing vs. hot jazz), but sorta close. Check out the SNZ.

They (BBVD) did the theme to nineties sitcom Third Rock From The Sun...oh yeah they have a good sound, too.

Re: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Didn't BBVD do something on The Mask soundtrack as well? I believe they were the band playing in The Coco Bongo.

I d/l a lot of their songs last night. Now I am on the prowl to buy their CDs. Good stuff

Thanks for the SNZ headsup, PuceMole Will look into it

Re: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Do we have any other "new" bands with the "big band/swing" type of music?

Re: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Well, BBVD was formed around 1990s. So if that is what I call new...
