Hmmm.. as far as the P.U.L.S.E. tabs go.. I am not aware of any.. I'll do some digging and ask a few friends if they know of any.

If you have the tabs for the standard recordings (the ones on here), with a little experimentation and improvization you should be able to get moderately close to what you want.

Hardware wise.....First use the Jackhammer to break up the Samick... oopssss, did I type that..kidding..

Does your Squire have the standard pickup arrangement? Assuming it does (S S S) you may be able to get close but you will never equal Dave's tone without spending a few dollars ( or marks, or pfennigs or euro's or whatever) .

You'll want to be on the lead position on your selector switch (pickup closest to the neck) with clean tone. If you have any effects pedals you will want a bit of compression and chorus.

What type of amp are you using? That will have an effect as well. Again, you will want your amp set fairly clean. I set my Pre about 6 and my post about 3 for most of my PF stuff. Of course, Master Volume at 11.

I am currently using a Digitech RP200A effects processor. What I like about it is the fact that I can run up to 11 effects simultaneously out of one unit, setting each effect independantly. It will also model amps and cabinets so no matter what type of guitar, pickup, amp combo you are using, you can get the sound you want.

If you are limited on funds and want to make a cheap guitar sound a lot better.. and a good guitar absoutely wail....look into it.

I think the amp if built in to the Samick. I have 3 pickups, standar...the jackhammer is a marshall.
Im going to buy a marshall amp and speaker (damn i hate this "not common" english) probably the strat american deluxe and an effectboard. Im just trying to get the best sound with the stuff i have atm.

Your english is fine... a lot better than my Nowegian..

Give the settings I listed a shot.. that should get you close, then you can refine it.

Just have fun in the meantime..

I occasionally will play the into to WYWH cranked to almost Metal settings with Overdrive, flange, compression, chorus..everthing turned up to max... It's nowhere near the original, but it sounds pretty cool..

..the problem with digitech is although its pretty cheap the effects are pretty low quality (reflecting its price.) I use the BP cuz well i play bass but its pretty much the same thing...Any way if you know how to play your cards in terms of what kind of effects to buy it shouldnt take to much to get any given sound. My digitech isn't working now and ive had it for less then a year, i never really abused it either... so id say its better to save up for quality effects, its better in the long run unless your just lookin to make your quitar sound a little more interesting.
