I actually heard Piper... when I didn't know anything about Syd's situation and all that. But for years it was my fave.
I'd describe it as very fresh. Lovely songs. Lovely voice.
As for punk - hahaha ! :smile))

I was being serious. He's probably my favorite vocalist, after Thom Yorke. I'm not saying Roger's great technically, I just love his singing.

Yeah, I can't say that all his vocals sound bad, but "Don't Leave Me Now" sounds Horrible in my opinion (no offense), and so sound some vocals on TFC, too. Tho TFC is one of my favourite PF album.
