Live at Pompeii Cut vs. Original
I saw the Live at Pompeii Directors cut the other day, and was wondering if the original was much different. Did the original have less interviews and studio stuff, and more of them playing? I definately enjoyed it, but I'd like to just see them jam out, I don't need any talking. I also can't wait for the Pulse DVD, anyone heard a date yet?

The "original version" is on the DVD as one of the features.

In a word, less "talking" and fewer interviews.

Actually, in the DVD you'll find the Original Concert (that is the original version of the movie, without interviews) but NOT the second version of the film (the one with the classic "pie crust" conversation and stuff) in addition to the Director's Cut of course. The DC version has all the previous material (original concert + second version interviews/studio footage + additional interviews and stuff).

Speaking of Pulse, according to EMI of Italy, the current release date is April 2004.
