And the Tele's volume knob is right by the pickup switch, so whenever I hit it with force, the volume gets turned down or up.

You just can't win.

Re: Fender geeks and guitarpeople

I love Weezer's tone. It's so chunky and powerful.

I also like the Fender, i think it's the Jaguar. I don't know which one it was, but I played this one in Minnesota and instead of the standard pickup switch, it had a little switch for each one. Which one is that? Whatever it was, it sounded awesome.

It was either a Jaguar or a Mustang...

Was the body big or small?

I think it was pretty big. Sounded beautiful though.

Amateur...

The only problem I have with the pickup switch is that in the middle of a song, it can be quite awkward to switch from the bridge pickup back to the neck one quickly, as the switch is so close to the volume knob.

Re: Fender geeks and guitarpeople

It even happened when I didn't hit the switch hard. Hmm.

RM, that guitar was probably a Jaguar. They're sweet indeed.

Re: Fender geeks and guitarpeople

Do you have a Squier, or Fender Mexico? It may just be down to build quality, because I've never encountered that problem with mine.

Fender Mexican. I've fixed the problem; I replaced the barrel knobs with Jazz Bass knobs. They look nice as well.
