OT Question

When I burn a Floyd concert with MusicMatch, there's a small skip between the tracks when I play it on any CD player. Does anyone know of a program that when you burn a CD, the transition between the songs is smooth, and there are no skips?

Well, I certainly do, mason_fan!

Your best bet would be Nero. You can download a demo version off Ahead's site. Search for "Nero Burning Rom" in Yahoo or Google.

Once you've installed it, you simply go to New -> Audio CD, then you can drag and drop audio files onto the list. Now, an audio CD requires the first track to have a 2 second gap before it, but this doesn't matter since it's the first track. So highlight the rest of the tracks, go to properties and enter 0 seconds for the pre-track gap. Then, you're set. A seemless sequence of audio files!

There's no difference between the demo and full version, Dr Cheese, other than entering a serial number. So, it wouldn't matter either way.

Kazaa is full of spyware and other little goodies that they don't tell you about (Brilliant Digital Software being one of them - it acts as a kind of Trojan apparently). Kazzalite is a hacked version that has all the crap removed but still operates as normal. You can download it here :

Damn, thanks for the tip. No wonder my computer's been running so slow since I got KaZaA.

Should I download eMule or FastTrack?

You can clean it up by running Adaware or Spybot but Kazaa will stop working if you do. Do yourself a favour and get Kazaalite.
BTW even if you unistall Kazaa it will still leave some of it's crap behind (BDS) which still continues to function!
