What Concert Do You Hate Missing...

Just as the topic says, what show did you miss (and had a chance to see) and why...me...two...first, I had tickets to an OZZY show that was cancelled right after Randy Rhoads died and secondly I had tickets to a Triumph show that was cancelled, not too sure why to honest

I hate missing Pulse, I blame my parents for not conceiving me earlier, so I would have been introduced to the Floyd in time to go to see Pulse...

=%¤¤# I HATe not seeing one bloddy floyd concert. And i probably wont!! =%O¤#= Thats just because im 15 years old. I talk to the grownup floyd fan (my guitar teatcher) he went to a couple in oslo and so on =%¤#%34 I WANNA!

yeah, just as you guys said, pink floyd. im 15 now...and was too young to appreciate them during the pulse tour.

but as for actual concerts...this summer, i missed the Wallflowers in Boulder, and Widespread Panic in Denver. But I'm pretty sure I'll be able to catch them this next summer...who knows, maybe even RW too...with all of these rumors floating around...

AC/DC (with Bon Scott!) were playing the Liverpool Empire for two nights in the late '70's, we'd been to the first night, which was so good we decided to try and get tickets on the night from the box office for the second, my four mates were in the queue before me and all got tickets ok, just as I got to the window the shutter came down and the cry of "Sorry, all sold out!" went up! I've never lived it down!

I misssed seeing The Who with John entwistle at least ( I saw them in 2002 and I saw John solo on a beatles tribute tour) and missed Keith Moon by a long shot. I also wanted to see the Stones on their latest tour, but money became an issue. And of course Floyd, I didnt even know who they were on their last tour in 1994, I was too young.

that sucks about AC/DC, if you're being sincere. Most people I know don't like them, but I love them.

As it were, I just recently declined to go to an American English concert with two girls from my class. American English is a Beatles tribute band, and though they probably are the closest thing I'll ever have to seeing The Beatles live, the show is two hours away and costs around thirty dollars. Not quite my cup of tea. I suppose the true closest thing would be seeing Paul in concert, but I think he's a dick.

I'd seen them the night before and I saw them several times after with Brian Johnson so I'm not too bothered, it was a bit shit having to go home on my own though while those so-called friends of mine got into the gig!
