a few questions

hello, i am new to the board (obviously) and i've noticed its pretty active. so, i have a few questions for anybody who feels like speculating and/or answering.

i value all works of all eras of floyd respectively... i believe that none of it could ever be possible without what came before it. my favorite studio album is animals but sentimnetally, The Wall Live 1980-1981 speaks to my soul.
i would like to know if there is a list of who plays what in each song, because the documentation is quite vague and only lists each part each member played in its entirety.
who is playing what instruments in particularly The Thin Ice, Mother, Comfortably Numb, and well, during the entire compilation? not all songs were played during the same night, and judging by most bootlegs, this has been mixed and sampled and perfected through hours and hours in a studio. i am most interested in the acoustic guitar, and really have no idea who is playing it. it sounds aggressive and natural, /perfect/. especially in Mother, where the entire song is built around the guitar. i often wonder why this incredible outburst couldnt have occured in studio form, and i'm assuming its because floyd was best in those certain rare moments when it all came together and they poured their hearts out as individuals, as one :) just one fan's rant about the floyd, i'm anxious to hear any comments, and/or flames that come my way :) thanks for reading all of this.
