I must say that I agree with _archer. I mean I know ppl who dash around corners to buy an entire aslbum for just that HIT SINGLE. [case in point BSB-BSBack !] Though I suppose that's how even Floyd started out (releasing singles I mean). Isn't it strange...for all that the great Roger Waters raged on against the 'Etablisment' he was ultimately wrecked by it ?

I'm glad that people find them strange. The state of pop music is terrible, I'm sure most people are weirded out by talent and individuality. That's why they are the greatest band ever.

Yeah... I remember someone asking me what was the music style of Pink Floyd... I answered that there wasn't a precise style to describe it... Pink Floyd is just Pink Floyd...

Some Pink Floyd is a little unusual when first exposed to it, but it's all very accessible. There's other music that's MUCH weirder. Like The Residents and Frank Zappa!
