| Re: Shine on You Crazy Diamond not about Syd? Hello to everyone out there who loves Pink Floyd as much as I do. My friend recommended this forum to me the other day. It looks pretty good so far...I was having an arguement with someone today about Shine on You Crazy Diamond...she thinks it was written about a friend of Syd's who died but I informed her that it was actually about Syd. I was quite perturbed.

First because of the lyrics (I think they are about Syd as well) and others, have you seen the Echoes CD? On the Crazy Diamond lyrics-page there is a picture of Syd. Anyway, this song is pretty good, isn't it?

| Re: Shine on You Crazy Diamond not about Syd? Yes! Me and a small furry animal were rather bewildered that anyone could have beem led to such atrocious beliefs thanks to someones incompetency to be a true Floyd fan. But now that the facts have been righted we can all go to sleep in peace! cheers
