You aren't confused by the word Floydian

That's true that when you're a Floydian, many things remind you of Pink Floyd. For example, «Comfort Inn» reminds me of Comfortably numb. In Newfoundland, I went to a museum about lighthouses called «Let there be light»...

You're a Floydian if you're able to discuss about Pink Floyd for hours with a fan like you. You're a Floydian if you're going to see Roger Waters' show (I just can't wait!!!)

I had a conversation with my friend's father who likes Pink Floyd about Syd's death.
Him- That's sad. He didn't even know Pink Floyd when it was named Pink Floyd.
Me- Well, actually, he named the band, first called Tea Set then The Pink Floyd Sound and finally Pink Floyd.

(Later)

Him- Pink Floyd did an album to honour Syd, you know, «Dark Side of the Moon.»
Me- You mean «Wish you were here»?
Him- Well, the song «Wish you were here» is on Dark Side, isn't it?
Me- No, it's on the album «Wish you were here».

I guess it was kind of humiliating for him to find out I know more about Pink Floyd than he does, even if he's 25 years older than me...
