I'm ashamed a lot during the day, I didn't really want to be so here. Last edited by GeraldTheMouse; 10-29-2004 at 12:20 AM.

I liked Animal Farm alot, and I liked Animals as well. They're both two different styles of writing in two different genres, so it's difficult to to compare and contrast. One person said apples and oranges, and I agree with that. Both are masterpieces in their own right, and although it could be debated that they are not either artists' magnum opus ( Most consider Orwell- 1984 & Floyd- The Wall to be their supreme works, respectively), they are recognized as great works.

I also think they are two different concepts. There are certainly similar themes, but i don't think you need to be aware of both to enjoy either. "at the end of the day, the only think that really matter is whether you're moved by the music" On a slightly different matter, is anyone aware of the work of Chad McCail, an artist who has produced some work which i think reflect the feeling of animals. This is only a personal thing and perhaps others get different meanings, but i certainly recommend having a look if you enjoy that kind of oppression and/or consipracy theme. XX
