Does a poem tell more about the author or the person reading it?

thats just like asking, Does song same more about the singer or the listener ?
Everyone has the own opinions on what they like to read or listen too. So is this question with one answer ?

Generally speaking, it would be interesting to know.

Or you can answer fellow comrad's question of whether a song tells more about the write or the listener.

I think a poem tells more about the person reading it. But that's just my opinion.

Tomorrow will come, today will pass
For me and you, and all the mass

I see no point I hear no reason
Spring, Summer, whatever season

Look in the mirror wha do you see
A hopeful man to the tee

why wait for tomorrow you say
when today is now on every day

Many have told me my gift tells many about themselves, but I simply let my wings go free and put pen to paper with what I feel. If that impacts your lives like many before, then I believe your question has been answered.
