I don't think anything would compare to Hogmanay (spelling?) in Edinburgh. One of the largest nights of my life spent there.

Yeah, tell us good sir.

I won't go into great detail...modesty forbids. It involves large amounts of alcohol, guitars, new 'aquaintances', naked flesh, and not too much sleep.

Probably the only thing Floydy about the evening was that I played WYWH, CN and Mother at some stage in proceedings. One of the girls knew how to sing Sam Brown's part in the Chorus of CN which sounded REALLY good with a couple of acoustic guitars (and your's truley doing Dave's part).

I believe it is because of nights such as that that we are Floyd fans. Is there anything better than being drunk/stoned and someone picking up a guitar and doing a Floyd number or two? I think not!
Anyway it sonuds like it was a night not to be forgotten.

Yes I agree. Some of my most memorable nights involve a guitar and some floyd singing.

Maybe I should compose a short story based on one of those evenings. I don't think my writing would be quite as amusing as BoaB's though.

(But it definitely wouldn't be "R" rated like Fixxy's).
