An open letter to Melkor

Greetings Melkor:

As of late I have recieved a few Mod reports from you regarding other members "following you around and giving you a hard time". I am sorry to say that I am less than sympathetic.

As a MOD on here I try to be even handed and give everyone the benefit of the doubt. We all have our own unique way of contributing to this community, and I try to let everyone find their own niche.

I have to say that I am finding it difficult to see any positive contributions on your part. As Death Tongue pointed out in a recent post, you have flagrantly violated forum rules with content of posts, thread topics, abuse of other members, foul language, and a general demeanor of rancor.

Your multiple personalities have been divisive, if not infantile. The introduction of Kat2004's sexuality has no place here, and the comments made by Kat with regard to Sam Brown were repugnant in my opinion.

I communincated with you as Jonnyrory and ElectricFloyd privately, and asked you to clean it up. The response I received from Jonny was a positive step. I had hopes of seeing another great member join our community. Instead I see that you have chosen the low road.

By your IP address I can identify all the guises you choose to post under. If, as you claim, you are using a common computer at school, and others wish to join APFFN from that locale, how do you think they will react when we ban that IP address and they cannot even log on? We all know what happens to the "most popular" kid in the dorm, don't we....sleep with you door locked.

I hope you will take this letter as a catharsis, change your ways and play like the big kids do. The choice is yours, choose wisely lad.

Do what you feel is best. Based on your choice, I will do whatever is necessary.

My apologies if I've, shall we say, made your day any more interesting than it has to be, Fulghum.

Unfortunately, I am the kind of person who believes that everyone deserves a second chance. I just PM'ed Melkor about it. No further transgression of the rules will be tolerated, however.
