If it's not under 55 minutes, I'm not buying it.

Re: The Mars Volta

What a weird coincidence, "Vicarious" being the lead-off track.

Re: The Mars Volta

hahaha.. yes, lots of people have noticed that.

It's a fairly common useful word though.
Also, if you look at those titles, they've all got biblical/religious connotations. Cedric is known for his very strong dislike of Catholicism and he very much thinks that christians live "vicariously" through Jesus..

just food for thought.

Baphomet is really freakin' interesting. (I love wikipedia)

(Sorry, I'm excited now and I'll start doing the analysing etc..)

Incidentally "Baphomet Transfusions" was a line used in the L'Via b-side.. which lyrically just made no sense whatsoever in the context of the Frances album.. Listening to it now, I suspect that this is the direction that Cedric is going to take.

cheers

That Frances one is the glow in the dark one yes?

Cos that truly pwns over all my other records.. I <3 it..

where are you getting it from though? make sure you don't get ripped off cos GSL still have them I think and it's still the cheapest place to get them.

Not sure -- but that would be totally cool. I'm all about the triple gatefold though.

www.scratchrecords.com. They're out of Canada. They seem to have very reasonable prices. I don't think I'll get ripped off -- no problem there.

Re: The Mars Volta

All versions of it are..

that's really weird though.. split coloured.. the only ones I know of that they released was the black and the glow in the dark (and the glow in the dark comes in a special cover, so that's not it)..

take photos of it when it arrives (The actual disks) I wanna see what it is and if I have it, and if I don't.. why the hell I don't..

Not sure if I'm going to open them. Haven't decided yet. If I do, however, I'll take some pics of them.
