Obviously, you don't have to buy them from here, as I've been told that it's cheaper to buy from Amazon. They've supported Radiohead in the UK a couple of times, also. They're also touring America in September. Go on- You know you want to!! Ps- Thanks for taking me at face value. Respect etc, Mark

Ps- one of the best ever..., December 9, 2000 Reviewer: bob (see more about me) from Virginia I work in a record store. I play this album at least once a week, and every single time I play it, someone comes up to me and says, "What IS this? This is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard!" And then I say, "Yeah. I know." Unfortunately that's the only way I can describe the album. Don't try to compare it to anything. At least, not any bands. When the piano kicks back in on the third track after the little acoustic guitar bit...wow. I get chills every time. Without question the best album of 2000, (Sorry to OutKast, PJ Harvey, Grandaddy, and the Doves). On their website, Sigur Ros say that they're going to alter the musical landscape forever. They're right. copied from Amazon.com

Sorry- I'm rather enthused with this particular task of turning you all on to this band- so here's another review from Amazon. I'll stop. I will. Amazing, July 8, 2001 Reviewer: Paul Zachary (see more about me) from Stamford, CT United States Sigur Rós hails from the nation of Iceland, an island the size of Kentucky in the North Atlantic. The newest land on earth, Iceland is an amazing collection of glaciers, deserts, the ocean, the beach, lava, and geysers. The scenery is so ethereal that most Icelanders believe in faerie folk, that are said to live populate their nation. In fact, you must use a 'seer' (someone who can see the faerie folk) before you can build a house or road in the Reykjavík suburb of Hafnarfjörður because their concentration is said to be so dense. So, it should come as no surprise that a sound so haunting, ethereal, and awe-inspiring comes from Iceland. Ágætis Byrjun has sold over 16.000 copies in Iceland alone. You may not think that sales of 16.000 CDs are so many, however that is tantamount to selling 16 million CDs in Iceland. Sigur Rós opens Ágætis Byrjun (Good Start in Icelandic) with the song Intro, which quietly swells into the song Svefn-G-Englar. Ágætis Byrjun isn't filled with 'tracks' in the typical sense, with a beginning, a middle, and an end, but songs that flow into each other, and creates a modern symphony. Ágætis Byrjun is perfect for just lying back and relaxing. The sonic waves transport you to another world. In short, I think it would be a wise investment for you to go out and buy Sigur Rós' Ágætis Byrjun.
