Solo member album recommendations?

I'm sure this has been posted before...but this is different, because there may be different recommendations based on different people's tastes and such...

Anyways, to help you help me, I'll tell you that I am very very fond of the Waters Era albums (Animals & Wall). But then I really like TDB...didn't care too much for AMLOR.

Hopefully that helps give you an idea of what solo albums I might like...

I think Amused To Death is a must.

Wright's Broken China is pretty good.

Although The Final Cut is not technically a Waters solo album, it is. And it's damn good.

I'd second that. Also, if you give the "Final Cut" a listen and like it, you should give "The Pros & Cons of Hitchhiking" a try. Subject matter is completely different but the production and songs are similar.

Syd Barrett's solo stuff is quite good (Madcap Laughs especially), if you dig that kind of thing.

I strongly recommend Gilmour's first solo outing 'David Gilmour'

Yes. I don't know why I didn't think to mention that one.

Rick's Broken China and Roger's Amused To Death are truly excellent solo albums. You're going to love both of them if you already like "Roger's era" and TDB.

David Gilmour's self titled album and Rick's Wet Dream are also very good.

If you want to give Syd a try, get 'Wouldn't you miss me' compilation.

Both Dave's are worth getting

I haven't heard any of Rick's yet

As for Rog, Amused to Death and Pros and Cons of Hitchiking are both good although i was a bit disappointed with Radio KAOS
